Southampton Rock Choir
Recording Session at Abbey Road Studios
Over one weekend in November 2014, Jenny took 400 of the singers she taught at Rock Choir to record at the world famous Abbey Road Studios.
This is a video diary of the Southampton Rock Choir. Jenny taught and lead two Rock Choir arrangements 'Someone Like You' by Adele and 'Joyful Joyful' from Sister Act. She also composed a special arrangement of 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' by Simon and Garfunkle especially for the weekend. Teaching them and conducting them through this arrangement was the proudest moment in Jenny's career.

Conducting 'Gøta'
Live at the Birmingham NEC Arena
Jenny had the pleasure of conducting 60 professional singers as part of a 10 year anniversary of the fantastic company Rock Choir. The piece, 'Gøta' was written by the Scandanavian A capella ensemble The Real Group, and after watching them live and being completely inspired by them, she vowed one day to somehow bring it to life. When given this opportunity, it was like a dream come true.
Singing With Jenny Workshop
Musical Theatre vocal workshop
Here is the finished product of one of Jenny's workshops; she writes bespoke arrangements for the groups she encounters and in this video you can see her teach and perform both 'America' from West Side Story and 'Bring Him Home' from Les Miserables.
The workshops are usually around 4 hours in length, and the singers have not been exposed to any of the material before the day.
It shows just how much people can achieve in a short amount of time, but also demonstrates Jenny's efficient teaching reaching very high goals.
Dorset Music Service and Dodgy
Live at the Royal Albery Hall
Jenny taught 1,200 children over the course of 3 months in preparation for their final extravaganza performance at The Royal Albert Hall. She regularly taught the Dorset Music Service choir, but also visited over 20 schools across Dorset to teach each individual school choir, and help the music teachers with their rehearsals. She arranged every piece of vocal music for the children and had the pleasure of conducting all 1,200 children alongside Dodgy in the live performance of their song 'Good Enough'.

As one third of the band The Lounge Kittens, Jenny performs as an accompanist on piano and sings joint lead vocals with Timia Gwendoline and Zan Lawther. Here is a diary of their adventures at the Sonisphere Festival in 2014. It was here that they made their huge break, after front man Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit came to watch them perform and then ask them to open their set on the main stage to 50,000 people. Their lives changed forever on that Saturday in July, and have been given many more incredible, life changing experiences as a result.
